Lenovo has launched a new tablet to its Legion lineup—the Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 in the Chinese market. The latest Legion device comes with a 120Hz 2K resolution display and a quad-speaker setup. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and a 6,550mAh battery.

The Legion Tab Y700 comes in two variants—8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The base variant of the tablet is priced at RMB 2,699 (around ₹32,300), whereas the 12GB + 256GB variant of the device costs RMB 2,999 (around ₹35,900). It will be available for purchase starting March 10 in China. However, there is no word on its global availability yet.

The Legion Tab Y700 flaunts an 8.8-inch LCD display with a WQXGA (2,560 × 1,600 pixel) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 500nits peak brightness.

Powering the tablet is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor that is built on a 7nm fabrication processor. The system on chip brings with it a powerful Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS3.1 storage. It comes preloaded with ZUI 13.0, based on Android 11.

The Legion Tab Y700 is equipped with a 13MP primary rear shooter and an LED flash. For video calls, it relies on an 8MP front camera. The Legion tablet packs a 6,550mAh battery unit and supports 45W fast charging. The Tab Y700 has a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro-SD card slot, and a stereo speaker setup tuned by JBL audio.

The Legion Tab Y700 comes in a single colour variant—Titanium Grey. In terms of connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax and Bluetooth 5.1. It measures 207x 128 x 7.9mm and weighs 375grams.
