Lenovo had launched the Legion Y90 gaming smartphone in March this year. The company is now planning to release a new gaming phone—the Lenovo Legion Y70. The smartphone is set to debut in China on August 13, 2022. Furthermore, the Legion Y70 is touted to arrive with a 50MP primary camera.
The Lenovo Legion Y70 goes by the codename Halo and was earlier spotted with model number L71091 on the TENAA and 3C certification websites. The phone was also seen on the HDR10+ certification website. Additionally, the key specifications of the Lenovo Legion Y70 were revealed via a Geekbench listing.

Although the smartphone is expected to launch with 8GB of RAM, it could also come with 12GB and 16GB RAM options.
The Lenovo Y70 will reportedly sport an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz or 165Hz. Going by previous leaks, the smartphone could feature a 5,000mAh battery unit, with support for 68W fast charging.
When it comes to imaging, the Y70 will have a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, it will have a 13MP selfie camera.
