Lenovo Legion Y70 With 6.7-inch AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC Launched

Lenovo has launched the Lenovo Legion Y70, the company’s latest gaming phone in China. When it comes to the specifications, the Legion Y70 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 16GB of RAM. It features a 5,047mm large VC cooling, aviation-grade aluminum material body, CNC-carved metal middle frame, triple-camera setup, and a 16MP selfie camera.

Lenovo Legion Y70 Pricing, Availability

The Lenovo Legion Y70 comes in Ice White, Titanium Grey, and Flame Red colour options. The device is priced at CNY 2970 (roughly ₹34,893) for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage costs CNY 3370 (roughly ₹39,580). The top-end variant which ships with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage retails for CNY 4270 (roughly ₹50,150). The device is available for order and it will go on sale in China starting from August 22, 2022.

Lenovo Legion Y70 Specifications, Features

The Lenovo Legion Y70 flaunts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display panel has a refresh rate up to 144Hz, 1000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The System on Chip consists of up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. On the software side of things, the Y70 runs Android 12 OS with ZUI 14 on top.

Moving onto the imaging department, the Legion Y70 sports a triple-camera setup. The device features a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone features a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The Legion Y70 is powered by a 5,100mAh battery which supports 68W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. Connectivity-wise, the phone offers a host of features such as 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. Lastly, the device also has X-axis vibration motors, 5,047mm large VC cooling, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
