South Korean giant LG has launched three TWS earbuds in India. The LG Tone Free FP3, Tone Free FP5, and LG Tone Free FP9 true wireless stereo join the existing lineup of wireless earphones of LG in the country.

These earphones come with a unique UVnano charging case, which kills 99.9 percent of bacteria on the earbuds with the help of ultraviolet light. Continuous usage of earphones leads to the rapid increase of bacteria in the ears. Adoption of this technology will help eliminate such harmful bacteria off the earphones, allowing you to share these earphones with others comfortably.

LG’s Tone Free FP3, Tone Free FP5, and Tone Free FP9 wireless earphones are in-ear type and get a short stem design. The silicone ear tips would ensure sound isolation and an appropriate fit. The brand claims that these ear tips are hypoallergenic and comes in three sizes to suit different ear sizes.  

LG’s latest wireless earphones come with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) to cut ambient noises and enhance your music listening experience. There’s also an ambient mode, called ‘Whispering Mode’. LG has collaborated with Meridian, a popular British audio brand, to bring Spatial sound to the LG Tone Free FP earphones. All the three earphone models get three mics each.

LG Tone Free FP earphones can switch between ANC and ambient modes with just a single tap on the earbuds. You can set the volume levels by double-tapping on the earbud. 

The earphones come with a Swift Pair feature to pair with Windows PCs. You can tweak the equaliser settings, toggle sound modes, and view battery levels via LG’s Tone Free app. The app also lets you customise game mode settings. You can even locate the missing earbuds using the earbuds finder tool in this app.  

LG’s Tone Free FP series ensures reliable connectivity owing to its Bluetooth v5.2 technology. All three models come with an IPX4 rating for water and sweat resistance. These earphones can offer 8 to 10 hours of playback and up to 22 hours of playback with the charging case combined.

The LG Tone Free FP series truly wireless earbuds start at a price tag of ₹13,990 in India. The prices of the specific models aren’t out yet. The earphones will be available to purchase via the LG e-store and other online channels. You can buy these earphones in Charcoal Black and Pearl White colourways.
