Logitech, the Swiss brand known for reliable computer peripherals, has introduced a new wireless mechanical keyboard, a wireless mouse, and a desk mat. These products form a part of the Logitech’s Studio Series of computer accessories that are known for their fun, vibrant, and colourful characteristics. The Logitech Pop Keys keyboard gets a retro typewriter-like design coupled with dedicated buttons for emojis to aesthetically enhance your personal workspace. The Pop Mouse compliments the keyboard with a matching colour theme and features a top button that opens the emoji menu for one-tap convenience.
“The Studio Series by Logitech embraces the originality of each individual out there. We wanted to create products that are just as expressive as our users, with big personalities and no compromise on productivity,” said Irfan Kachwalla, Lead Designer of Pop Keys.
Logitech Pop Keys, Pop Mouse Features
The Logitech Pop Keys keyboard comes with rounded typewriter-style keycaps and has a long travel. The keycaps are made of ABS plastic (which is sad to see) instead of PBT or double-shot PBT keycaps. It is a wireless mechanical keyboard and might annoy your co-workers or family members due to its clacking sounds. Do check out the Razer Pro Type Ultra keyboard if you need a stealthy operator.
Sending emojis is essential nowadays to express your emotions while chatting. The Logitech Pop Keys makes it easy to send emojis via a PC as it comes bundled with eight emoji swappable buttons. The keyboard has a provision for four dedicated key slots for your favourite emojis. The keyboard is compact compared to a full-size one but doesn’t miss out on the function row, numbers row, and arrow keys. The keyboard isn’t backlit but comes with a single LED on the Caps Lock key to indicate when it’s activated. The Pop Keys supports both Mac and Windows operating systems and the Option/Windows and Command/Alt legends are crafted onto the same keycaps.
The Logitech Pop Keys keyboard is rated to endure up to 50 million keystrokes. Both the Pop Keys and Pop mouse don’t come with rechargeable batteries. You will need AAA batteries to fire them up and Logitech promises up to three years of battery life. The keyboard’s battery compartment comes with a slot to place your wireless USB receiver.
Talking about the Pop Mouse, it comes in a cute and compact form factor. Its ‘Smartwheel’ scroll wheel flips automatically from high-precision to speed scroll mode. The Logitech Flow software allows for easy texting, file and image copy-and-pasting between computers that are signed in to the same account. The Pop Keys and the Pop Mouse allow you to connect up to three devices at a time via Bluetooth or the Logi Bolt wireless receiver. The Pop Keys keyboard works with Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Chrome OS and Android. The Pop Mouse works with Windows, macOS, iPadOS, Chrome OS, and Linux.
Logitech Pop Keys/ Pop Mouse Price, Availability
The Logitech Pop Keys keyboard is priced at $99.99 (around ₹7,437) in the US, while the Logitech Pop mouse is priced at $39.99 (around ₹2,975). The Logitech Desk Mat is priced at $19.99 (around ₹1,480) in the US. It is expected to reach the European shores soon.
