Michael Kors Access Gen 6 Smartwatches Launched In India

Michael Kors, a global luxury brand famous for its mechanical watches, has unveiled its latest smartwatch in India: Michael Kors Access Gen 6. The brand first partnered with Fossil Group in 2004 to design, develop, and distribute watches under the Michael Kors label. Hence, it is safe to assume that the Michael Kors Access Gen 6 is the rebranded Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch, albeit with a more premium design. It comes only in a single 44mm variant with stainless steel bracelets for an oversized look. The Access Gen 6 smartwatch comes in Gold Glitz, Rose Gold, Rose Gold Glitz, and a two-tone finish, which elevates its premium appeal.

The Michael Kors Access Gen 6 smartwatch is equipped with a 1.28-inch AMOLED screen with a 326 ppi pixel density. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ quad-core processor, which is based on the 12nm process. The chipset has a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, Qualcomm Adreno 504 GPU, dual-ISP for modem and location, and sensors/audio. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

The smartwatch runs on Google’s Wear OS and comes with Google Play Store, Google Assistant, and Google Fit apps. The Google Fit app tracks your physical activities. You can also set sleep goals, view sleep stats, and spot patterns to improve your sleeping pattern. It gets a host of sensors on board such as an accelerometer, altimeter, compass, gyroscope, PPG heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, and an IR ambient light sensor.

The smartwatch features a microphone and a loudspeaker to make and receive calls via a Bluetooth-connected smartphone. As for the other connectivity features, it has Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, and NFC. The smartwatch is swim-proof and has a 3ATM water-resistance rating. It comes with 4-pin USB magnetic puck charger, which supports fast-charging support, promising an 80% charge in 30 minutes.

The Michael Kors Access Gen 6 Bradshaw price in India starts at ₹25,995 for the base model (MKT5133). The other variants are MKT5134 (₹25,995), MKT5135 (₹29,995) and MKT5136 (₹32,495). The Access Gen 6 Bradshaw smartwatch is now available for purchase through select online and offline retail stores across India.
