Microsoft Surface Go 3 Affordable Laptop Launched In India

Microsoft has launched the Surface Go 3 laptop in India. It is a successor to the Microsoft Surface Go 2 which was launched in 2020. The Surface Go 3 is a 2-in-1 hybrid laptop and carries over the same design, screen size, magnesium build, and form factor from its predecessor. However, it uses slightly more powerful Intel processors. The Microsoft Surface Go 3 comes with Windows 11 out of the box and will come with a touchscreen and stylus pen support. The laptop also retains fan favourites like the kickstand and the easily detachable keyboard for ease of use and better productivity. 

Microsoft Surface Go 3 Features, Specifications

The Microsoft Surface Go 3 weighs just 544g (without the keyboard accessory) and is just 8.3mm thin. It sports a 10-5-inch LCD screen with Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080) and a 220ppi display density. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. The laptop is powered by Intel’s dual-core Pentium Gold 6500Y processor clocked at 3.4GHz, built on the 14nm fabrication process.

The other variant on the offer is powered by a dual-core Intel Core i3 10th Gen. (10100Y) processor, which is built on the 14nm process and comes with a maximum frequency of 3.9GHz. These laptops will come equipped with 4GB or 8GB LPDDR3 RAM coupled with 64GB eMMC storage or 128GB SSD options. The graphics are handled by the onboard Intel UHD Graphics 615.  

The Surface Go 3 laptops come with an 8MP rear-facing camera and 1080p video recording. It has a 5MP front-facing shooter with Full HD video recording. It comes with enhanced dual far-field Studio Mics to make sure you are audible every time while video calling. It has two 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio enhancement. 

The laptops come with sensors: accelerometer, ambient light, gyro, magnetometer, and NFC. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, Surface Connect port, microSDXC card reader, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 28WHr battery, and Microsoft is bullish about its claimed 11 hours of battery backup on Wi-Fi.

Microsoft Surface Go 3 Price In India, Availability 

The Microsoft Surface Go 3 has a starting price of ₹42,999 and the laptop goes as high as ₹62,999. Here is the pricing of all the Surface Go 3 variants:

The Microsoft Surface Go 3 is available for pre-order from Amazon.in and will go on sale from November 23, 2021. Customers who pre-order it will get a complimentary Surface Pen worth ₹9,099. The laptop will also be available through offline authorised resellers from December 2021.
