Microsoft has introduced the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller 2 Core, a cheaper version of its predecessor. The controller is targeted at pro gamers and comes with various features for competitive gaming. The device is compatible with the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core will be available from September 21, 2022. Pre-orders for the device are now open.

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core is now available for pre-order in India from e2zStore and will start shipping from September 21. You can purchase the controller for ₹12,490. The device comes in white, as opposed to the black colour of the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. It also comes with a Microsoft India Warranty.

The Microsoft Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core sports thumb sticks with a wrap-around rubberised grip. It also features adjustable-tension thumb sticks and shorter hair trigger locks.

You can also upgrade your controller by purchasing additional accessories, which will, of course, bring up the price of the affordable device. Additionally, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core lets you map buttons. You can save up to three profiles and switch between them on the go. Microsoft claims that the device can last for up to 40 hours with its rechargeable battery.

Meanwhile, the pricier Xbox Elite Series 2 controller comes with a few more components than the non-Core version. The standard controller includes a charging dock, an extra D-pad, four paddles, as well as a carrying case.
