Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities (Asia-Pacific), is back with some more speculation about the new Apple Watch models and AirPods Pro, in addition to the Mixed Reality headset, expected to launch in 2022. After Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman broke the story about Apple’s new iPads, iMac, iPhone, Apple Watches, and more for 2022, the onus was on Ming-Chi Kuo to come out with more leaks. It appears as if both are trading blows with each other to take the crown of the ‘World’s best Apple leakster.’ Ming-Chi Kuo gains information from his contacts in Apple’s supply chain in Asia, thus considered as a trustworthy source in the industry.
Ming-Chi Kuo’s report suggests that Apple may introduce three new Apple Watch models next year. These will include the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE and a rugged smartwatch. His reports corroborate Mark Gurman’s claims about three new Apple watches. However, Kuo’s reports about the Apple Watch Series 7’s design turned out to be incorrect. So apparently this time around, he has refrained from commenting about the design of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8.

According to him, Apple’s new AirPods Pro will release later in 2022 and will incorporate a much more powerful chip. If previous reports by Bloomberg are to be believed, the AirPods Pro will come with a compact design devoid of the stem and will get onboard motion sensors for fitness tracking.
Coming to iPhones, Ming-Chi Kuo says that the iPhone 14 lineup will finally come with support for Wi-Fi 6E. The iPhone SE will have some minor tweaks to make it more appealing in 2022. However, Apple will make major revisions for the 2023 Apple iPhone SE. It will come with a bigger screen and an upgraded 4GB RAM as opposed to 3 GB RAM.
