Lenovo-backed Motorola is expected to release 19 unique handsets this calendar year across various regions around the globe. According to a past report, the company is expected to debut the Edge 30 (codenamed Dubai) as early as this month. Ahead of the launch, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
The Moto Edge 30 will feature a Snapdragon chipset, 50MP triple rear cameras, a 4,020mAh battery, and more. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications and features of the rumoured Moto Edge 30.
Moto Edge 30 Specifications
Motorola is said to debut the Moto Edge 30 in the month of April in select markets. Brar says that the upcoming Moto Edge 30 will flaunt a 6.55-inch POLED display with an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and 144Hz refresh rate support.
Fueling the device could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. The chipset is an upgraded version of its predecessor, and packs in the boosted Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU and the Adreno 642L GPU. The chipset also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ technology that can recharge the phone at faster speeds.

The upcoming handset will sport a triple-camera setup on the back comprising a 50MP primary camera sensor, 50MP ultrawide camera, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, users will get a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The handset will draw power from a comparatively small 4,020 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The smartphone, similar to the older Edge 30 Pro, will run Android 12-based MyUX out of the box. The company has not yet revealed a launch date for the smartphone and there’s no confirmation on the pricing or availability as of now.
