Fueling the device could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. The chipset is an upgraded version of its predecessor, and packs in the boosted Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU and the Adreno 642L GPU. The chipset also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ technology that can recharge the phone at faster speeds.
In addition, it is reported that the device will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM options along with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. The upcoming handset will sport a triple-camera setup on the back comprising a 50MP primary camera sensor, 50MP ultrawide camera, and 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone, similar to the older Edge 30 Pro, will run Android 12-based MyUX out of the box. The company has not yet revealed a launch date for the smartphone and there’s no confirmation on the pricing or availability as of now.
