Moto G42 Goes On Sale In India Today Via Flipkart: Price, Specifications, Launch Offers

The Moto G42 first sale in India will commence today. The device was launched by Motorola in the country last week. To recall, the Moto G42 is a mid-range device that comes with a 6.47-inch AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor. It features a 50MP triple-camera, 16MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. The handset runs Android 12 out of the box and offers up to 20W Turbo charging support.

The Moto G42 is priced at ₹13,999 in India. The smartphone comes in a sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The handset will be available for purchase in India from today through Flipkart and leading retail stores.

As a part of launch offers, buyers can get up to a ₹1,000 instant discount with an SBI credit card on Flipkart. Users can also avail 10 percent off with a Citi Bank Debit/Credit card as well as a Bank Of Baroda Credit card. The device comes in Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose colour options.

Moto G42 Specifications, Features

The Moto G42 sports a 6.47-inch AMOLED display. The device has Full HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout at the centre for the selfie camera. On the software side of things, this latest G-series smartphone runs Android 12 out of the box with My UX on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor.

The System on Chip consists of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The imaging department of the G42 is handled by a 50MP triple-camera setup. The 50MP sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens. The front of the smartphone consists of a 16MP camera which has an f/2.45 aperture. 

Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W Turbo Charging. In terms of connectivity, the device offers features such as a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The other key features offered by the G42 include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, microSD card support, an IP52 rating for water splash resistance, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support.
