The Moto G72, Motorola’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, will be unveiled in India on Monday, October 3, 2022. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The handset will have an IP52 rating, a 5,000Ah battery, and support for 33W fast charging. Now, Onsitego has exclusively learned about the Moto G72’s pricie in India and availability through industry sources.
The smartphone’s landing page is already live on Flipkart’s website, revealing its key specifications. The Moto G72 will be revealed on Monday and will go on sale in the country in the same week.
Motorola Moto G72 Price In India Revealed
The Motorola Moto G72 priced in India will be ₹18,999 for the 6GB RAM+128GB version. The device will make its debut in India on October 3, 2022. In the event of an exchange, Flipkart and Motorola will offer an extra ₹3,000 exchange incentive. All users purchasing the smartphone will be able to get an extra ₹1,000 off when purchasing via select credit and debit cards. The phone will be available in two colours: Meteorite Gray and Polar Blue.
Motorola Moto G72 Specifications
The Motorola Moto G72 features a 10-bit pOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 576Hz, a peak brightness of 1,300nits, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, and HDR10 compatibility. It is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The smartphone will ship with Android 12-based MyUX software. Motorola has opted for a triple-rear camera arrangement that includes a 108MP primary sensor, an ultrawide camera, and a separate 2MP macro camera. On the front, we may see a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W rapid charging capabilities powers the device.
The phone will be sold in two colours—Meteorite Gray and Polar Blue—and will feature an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. It has a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos compatibility.
