Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest foldable smartphone, dubbed the Moto Razr 2022, in China on August 2. In the past, there have been a series of leaks and reports suggesting the specifications of the device. Now, the company has confirmed via a Weibo post that the Moto Razr 2022 will come equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, making it the first-ever foldable to feature the latest Qualcomm chipset. Moto Razr 2022 Will Feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor

As seen above, Motorola has released an official poster confirming that the upcoming Moto Razr 2022 will be the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Apart from this, the brand has not revealed any information regarding the launch of the upcoming foldable smartphone. However, the previous teasers suggested that the Moto Razr 2022 will have a dual rear camera setup and will run MYUI 4.0 OS out of the box.

Moto Razr 2022 Specifications (Expected)

Based on previous reports, the Moto Razr 2022 will feature a 6.7-inch pOLED FHD+ foldable screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will most likely have a 3-inch cover display on the back, which can also be used to play games. The Moto Razr 2022 is expected to arrive in Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue colour options.

For photography, the Moto Razr 2022 is expected to feature a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera. For selfies and video calling, the device might rely on a 32MP front camera. The Moto Razr 2022 is said to be backed by a 2,800mAh battery.

It is now confirmed that the Moto Razr 2022 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which could be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. As for the pricing, the upcoming Moto Razr 2022 is expected to be priced around EUR 1,149, which roughly translates to ₹94,000.
