Motorola’s new clamshell foldable phone, the Moto Razr 2022, has been the subject of various rumours and leaks for a while. Just last week, the company offered the first look of the smartphone, flaunting more rounded corners and a less prominent chin compared to its predecessor. Now, a new report from China claims that the new Moto Razr launch has been delayed.
Noted tipster Digital Chat Station states that the Motorola Razr 2022 launch will not happen on the expected date. The leakster didn’t specify the expected launch date, nor did he talk about the reason behind the delay.

When folded, we can see a slightly larger external display. The smartphone is reported to come with a new hinge mechanism, which will make it sturdier.
The Moto Razr 2022 is expected to sport a 6.7-inch pOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. When it comes to imaging, the smartphone is said to flaunt a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. Meanwhile, the secondary screen has a 3-inch display.

Under the hood, the Moto Razr 2022 will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It will feature up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. Additionally, the handset is rumoured to come with support for 25W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
