Motorola Launches MH7020 Wi-Fi Mesh-Ready System in India

Manchester-based networking equipment maker, Minim, has introduced its latest Wi-Fi mesh system under the Motorola brand. Dubbed the Motorola MH7020 Mesh-Ready Home Wi-Fi Router, this product comes with optional range-extending satellites routers to offer wider network coverage across large homes or offices. On top of that, you get enhanced security, wider coverage, and user-friendly network management over a companion mobile app.

Motorola claims that the MH7020 can be used as a standalone Wi-Fi router or pair it with up to three Motorola MH7021 Satellites. It is a dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) router that supports a bandwidth of up to 400Mbps over the 2.4GHz band and up to 866Mbps over the 5GHz band. There’s an additional high-capacity line for optional satellites. The device comes with a dedicated button for a one-touch WPS connection option.

According to the brand, the machine comes with Intelligent Tri-band technology to deliver swift Internet speeds. If there are too many smart devices in your household, the MH7020 can automatically route your devices through the least congested band to skirt around drop-offs. The company promises to provide automatic software updates for years to come. These updates will include new features, bug fixes, security patches, and performance improvements.

The Motorola MH7020 comes with the MotoManage app that enables users to manage and monitor their home Wi-Fi system on the go. It allows you to control who can access your Wi-Fi when you are not at home. Plus, you get elaborate options for parental controls and threat detection. In India, Motorola is offering the premium subscription of Motorola MH7020 for free. To put things into perspective, it usually costs $4.16 per month in the US.

The Motorola MH7020 Wi-Fi router price in India is ₹7,999. It can be purchased in India via Amazon and Flipkart. Adding one satellite to the pack will raise the price to ₹13,999. Finally, the three device pack that includes two satellites costs ₹19,999. The manufacturer offers a two-year warranty on the product.
