Motorola has launched a new budget-oriented smartphone—Moto E40—in India. The smartphone was introduced in the international markets earlier this month. The Moto E40 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display. The smartphone is equipped with an octa-core Unisoc T700 processor. The device packs up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The other features of the Moto E40 include a 48MP triple-camera setup on the rear, an 8MP selfie camera, Android 11 OS, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Moto E40 Price In India, Availability

The Moto E40 price in India starts at ₹9,499. The smartphone comes in Carbon Gray and Pink Clay colour variants. The device will go on sale in India via Flipkart starting from October 17, 2021. The phone is available in just one configuration: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.

The Motorola Moto E40 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The display panel has a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole-shaped cutout at the center to house the selfie camera. Under the hood, the device is equipped with an octa-core Unisoc T700 processor. The smartphone packs up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. You can expand the storage by up to an additional 512GB with the help of a microSD card slot.

On the software side of things, the E40 boots Android 11 out of the box with MyUX on top. The company hasn’t committed to any form of software update schedule.

Coming to the imaging department, the smartphone features a 48MP triple-camera setup at the rear. The 48MP primary camera is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the phone is equipped with an 8MP selfie camera. The device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and it even features support for face unlock. The smartphone has a dedicated Google Assistant button on the right side.

The Moto E40 packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging. The device is 9.1mm thin and weighs 198g. Connectivity options include a dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
