Motorola is on a launch spree. The brand has launched yet another G-series smartphone—the Moto G62 in the Indian market. To recall, the Moto G62 5G was launched a few weeks back in the global markets. However, the Indian variant of the device comes with a few changes compared to the global variant. The all-new Moto G62 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and up to 8GB of RAM.

The latest G-series smartphone offers a 50MP camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery unit. Let us take a closer look at the Moto G62 5G price in India, launch offers, specifications, and features.

Moto G62 5G: Price In India, Launch Offers, And Availability

The Moto G62 5G price in India starts at ₹17,999 for the 6GB + 128GB configuration. There is also an 8GB + 128GB variant of the Moto G62 which is priced at ₹19,999. The Moto G62 5G will be available for purchase starting August 19 exclusively via Flipkart. As a launch offer, Motorola has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer up to ₹1,750 discount on purchase of the Moto G62.

Moto G62 5G: Specifications And Features

The all-new Moto G62 5G offers a 6.5-inch LCD display panel with a Full HD+ (2,400 × 1,080 pixel) resolution, 405ppi pixel density, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel features a centered punch hole notch.

Under the hood, the latest Moto smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and an Adreno 619 GPU. It comes paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with MyUX, based on Android 12. Motorola has also promised one Android version upgrade and three years of security patch updates for the Moto G62 5G.

For photography, the all-new Moto G62 5G relies on a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the device is a 50MP sensor with an F1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens that has an F2.4 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro lens with an F2.4 aperture on the handset. For selfies and video calls, it relies on a 16MP front shooter that has an F2.2 aperture.

The Moto G62 comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit and 20W TurboCharge fast charging support. It features a USB 2.0 Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a hybrid micro-SD card slot. It also offers a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio support.

The Moto G62 5G comes in two colour options—Frosted Blue and Midnight Gray colour options. It weighs 184 grams and measures 161.83 × 73.96 × 8.59mm. Connectivity options of the smartphone include dual-SIM, 5G (12 bands), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, and Galileo. It also features IP52 rating that makes it water repellent.
