Motorola Moto G72 India Launch Date Officially Confirmed: Specifications

After a series of leaks and rumours, Motorola has officially confirmed that it will launch the Moto G72 on October 3, 2022 in India. Do note that the smartphone will make its global debut in the country. A microsite has already gone live on Flipkart, revealing the official look and the key specifications of the upcoming Motorola smartphone. Let us take a look at the details.

According to the microsite, the Moto G72 will feature a 10-bit pOLED display that offers up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a 576Hz touch sampling rate. The display will also come with support for HDR 10, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 1300 nits of peak brightness. Powering the smartphone will be a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which is paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the Moto G72 will boot Android 12-based MyUX 4 out of the box.

For photography, the upcoming Moto smartphone will offer a 108MP main camera. In terms of battery, the Moto G72 will be powered by a 5,000mAh unit with 33W fast charging support. Other primary features of the smartphone will include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset will also feature an IP52 water-repellent design. As for the colour options, the Moto G72 will come in Meteorite Grey and Polar Blue shades.
