MSI Creator 16, 16P and 17 With 12th-Gen Intel Core Processor Debut at CES 2022

MSI has announced a creator-focused laptop lineup comprising of the MSI Creator 16, Creator 16P, and the Creator Z17 at CES 2022. All these three offerings from MSI run Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Pro. These laptops feature Vapor Chamber Cooler for heat dissipation and have DTS sound support. The MSI Creator 16 and the Creator 17 come equipped with a 12th-Gen Intel Core i7 processor which is accompanied by a GeForce RYX 303 GPU. The Creator Z17 flaunts a 17-inch display, and it claims to be the world’s first 17-inch laptop to support pen touch. The MSI Creator 16 and the Creator 16P feature a 16-inch IPS LCD display with a QHD+ 2560 x 1600 resolution. The display of the Creator 16P supports a 165Hz refresh rate, while the Creator 16 has a 120Hz refresh rate screen. The Creator 17, as the name suggests, comes with a 17-inch display.

The display has an IPS panel and a QHD+ resolution. Both, the Creator Z16P and the Z17 laptops, come powered by the 12th-Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor. The graphical performance of these new laptops is handled by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU. These laptops support up to 64GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Creator Z16 is powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12700H processor which is accompanied by Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU and up to 64GB of RAM.

The Creator 16P and the Creator 17 have a Full HD webcam, whereas the Creator 16 comes with a 720p webcam. When it comes to the dimensions and weight, the MSI Creator Z16 measures in at 359×256×15.9mm and weighs 2.2kg. On the other hand, the MSI Creator Z16P measures 359×256×19mm and weighs 2.39kg. The Creator Z17 measures 382×260×19mm and weighs 2.49kg. MSI has announced that that these new laptops will be available for pre-order beginning January 25. The laptops will start shipping by February 1.
