Samsung Display introduced the world’s first 240Hz OLED display for laptops at the Display Week 2022 expo. Ahead of the conference, Razer announced that its Blade 15 will be the first laptop to carry the OLED 240Hz display. The Razer Blade 15 is set to go on sale sometime in Q4 2022. Now, ahead of the sale of this gaming laptop, MSI seems to have snatched the title of the world’s first 240Hz OLED laptop. The brand unveiled the MSI Raider GE67 HX laptop with a 240Hz OLED display, and interestingly, it will be available for preorder this month.

When it comes to the specifications, this new gaming laptop from MSI flaunts a 15.6-inch OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and a QHD resolution. The display panel has a super-low response time of just 0.2ms and supports a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The laptop features different colour modes thanks to MSI’s True Color Technology.
Powering the Raider GE67 HX is a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900HX processor, which can be paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics. The laptop supports up to 64GB RAM and features two M.2 slots for dual storage. Furthermore, the laptop has a cooling system which incorporates two fans and seven heat pipes.

For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, and LAN. The whole package is fueled by a four-cell 99.9 Wh battery. Other key features include a 1080p webcam, RGB backlight keyboard, and two-sided Duo Wave speakers with a Dynaudio sound system.
As for the price, this new laptop will retail for $2,499. Currently, it is available for preorder via B&H.
