Nothing Phone (1) India Launch Set for July 12, Flipkart Availability Confirmed

Nothing has finally revealed the launch date for its upcoming smartphone. The first smartphone from Nothing will be called the Nothing Phone (1) and will launch on July 12. The Nothing Phone (1) will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in India and at the time of writing, the micro-site had already gone live on the e-commerce portal.

Nothing took to its social media channels to announce the Nothing Phone (1) launch date. The Phone (1) has been the talk of the town ever since the brand revealed that a smartphone is in the pipeline. Its India launch has been highly anticipated ever since the smartphone with model number A063 cleared BIS certification. Nothing Phone (1): What We Know So Far

One thing that is confirmed about the Nothing Phone (1) is that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Rumour has it that the Phone (1) will not be a flagship device and it will come equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone (1) will ship with Nothing OS, based on Android. The brand has previously said that the Nothing OS will ship with 40 percent lesser preinstalled apps compared to other smartphones. The company will rely on Google’s suite of apps such as Calculator, Calendar, and Clock instead of developing its own versions.

With the Nothing Phone (1), Carl Pei, the man behind Nothing, wants to take on Apple. Pei says that Nothing aspires to become the most compelling alternative to Apple. Besides the Phone (1), the brand has some other products in the pipeline. So, we might see the company launching more than one product in the upcoming event.
