Nothing launched its first-ever smartphone, dubbed the Nothing Phone (1), in India and other global markets earlier this month. The new smartphone features a transparent design language, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor. The smartphone will go on an open sale starting today. However, the brand has released a new software OTA update for the Phone (1), ahead of its first open sale. As per the changelog, the new update revamps the operating system’s sound effects, improves the Glyph interface, and optimizes the battery life. Additionally, the update will reportedly introduce optimizations for camera effects like HDR, portrait mode, and more.

The first OTA update for Nothing Phone (1) is sized at 93.81 MB. As for the availability, the update is currently rolling out in India.
