Odysse V2, Odysse V2+ Electric Scooters With 150km Range Launched: Price

Odysse, a Mumbai-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has added two new electric scooters to its portfolio—the V2 and V2+. While range anxiety is a major concern for prospective EV buyers in India, the new Odysse scooters are touted to address the issue by offering a driving range of 150km on a single charge. 

The Odysse V2 and V2+ scooters will join four other EVs from the manufacturer—the E2go, Hawk+, Racer, and Evoqis. Currently, the company has manufacturing facilities in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad, and is planning to expand its production in other regions of India. Furthermore, Odysse plans to add more than 100 dealerships, as it will be adding more electric scooter models soon.  

Nemin Vora, CEO of Odysse, commented on the launch, “It gives us great pride to be launching Odysse’s V2 & V2+. India is transitioning towards clean mobility and with Odysse we want to bring about a change in how people commute. The newly launched Scooter is a step forward to strengthen our product portfolio, where electric scooters are consistently witnessing encouragingly high demand”. 

Odysse V2, Odysse V2+: Design, Features

The Odysse V2 and Odysse V2+ sport a futuristic design. These electric scooters gets a minimalistic top portion and LED headlight setup on the apron. The floorboard is flat and large to accommodate some luggage. It gets telescopic front suspension with 12-inch front wheels, alloy wheels, and a disc brake. Going by the images, the rear isn’t too bulky and sports a flat design. 

The Odysse V2 and V2+ come with an IP67 certified battery for water and dust resistance. Although the manufacturer hasn’t revealed the battery capacity or the power output of the motor, it claims to offer a driving range of 150km. Some other noteworthy features include passive battery cooling, anti-theft lock, a main stand, rear backrest support, and a big boot, among others.  

Odysse V2, Odysse V2+: Price

The Odysse V2 price is ₹75,000 ex-showroom in India. On the other hand, the Odysse V2+ is priced at ₹97,500 ex-showroom. They will come in blue, green, and white colours.
