According to CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola Electric plans to launch more than 200 experience centers throughout India by March 2023. Ola Electric, which has firmly committed to a digital-only sales approach since the debut of its first product last year, has declared that it will create additional physical contact points. This will allow potential customers to physically interact with the product before making a purchase.
Ola’s sales have decreased over the past several months, and last month the company registered only 3,421 S1 Pro scooter units. Although the cause of this drop is unclear, the sheer volume of consumer complaints about different problems is likely to have had some bearing. Instead of using a digital-only sales strategy, the company would be able to better display and explain its electric scooters to buyers by using experience centers.

Reports indicate that these centers will also act as customer support and after-sales contact locations, but Ola Electric has not yet confirmed this. The company is also getting ready to ship its S1 electric scooter, which will be their affordable model currently on sale. The Ola S1 will bring a smaller battery pack, with limited features in the same body. Deliveries are expected to commence sometime later this year.
