Ola S1 Air Affordable Scooter Announced: Price, Specifications

Ola Electric has introduced the Ola S1 Air, its most affordable electric scooter in India. Despite certain cost-cutting tweaks, the scooter nevertheless has the same structural underpinnings as the S1 and S1 Pro versions. The affordable variant has also undergone some cosmetic modifications that will help it stand out from the two more expensive models.

Ola S1 Air Price

Ola Electric’s most affordable scooter, the S1 Air, costs ₹79,999 (ex-showroom). However, this is the introductory price which will soon increase to ₹84,999. The scooter is available for pre-order, and delivery will start in April next year.

Ola S1 Air Specifications

Although it has a somewhat different appearance, the Ola S1 Air has the same structural foundations as the other Ola electric scooters. The scooter now has a flat floorboard and a cargo area that is just 34L. The Ola S1 Air is powered by a motor with a max output of 4.5kW and a smaller 2.5kWh battery. The scooter’s top speed is 85 kmph, and it can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.3 seconds.

The S1 Air also has a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, reverse mode, hill-hold, user profiles, MoveOS 3.0, steel wheels, twin telescopic front forks, and drum brake setup on both ends. The electric scooter has three driving modes—Eco, Normal, and Sports. Additionally, it has a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, reverse mode, hill-hold, user profiles, and a battery that can reportedly be fully recharged in 4 hours and 30 minutes.
