Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, took to Twitter to announce the purchase window for its Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters. This is set to be the third round of sales that will be held on March 17 and March 18.
Since it’s the occasion of Holi, Ola is also offering a special ‘Gerua’ paint job for its Ola S1 Pro electric scooter. Gerua means saffron and symbolises love. Going by the video shared it looks like a candy orange colour and would appeal to someone who wants a funky looking scooter. It is a limited edition colour and will only be available to purchase on March 17 and 18.
How To Buy The Ola S1 Electric Scooters?
Folks who have reservations will be eligible for early access on March 17. Buyers who don’t have reservations for the scooter will be allowed to buy on the next day, March 18. Along with the new ‘Gerua’ colour, buyers can choose from any of the 10 colourways offered on the Ola S1 Pro. The standard Ola S1 will not get this colour option but will be offered in the usual five colourways. Payments will be accepted only via the Ola app.
Expected Timeline Of Deliveries
The brand assures the buyers who make the new purchases during this third round will receive the scooters soon. The dispatch from the Ola Futurefactory will start from next month in April and deliveries will follow later.
Ola Electric conducted the first sale of its scooters in December 2021. It followed with a second sale in January 2022. Due to some concerns, it couldn’t open a purchase window in February 2022. But, better late than never, as you can finally book it soon this Holi.
