Almost everything about the upcoming OnePlus 10 series device is known, from design renders to detailed specifications, thanks to multiple leaks. Now, OnePlus co-founder and Oppo CEO Pete Lau has revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch in China next month, in January 2022. Lau took to the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo to make a formal announcement for the same. Let’s take a closer look at what the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro might have in store for OnePlus enthusiasts:
OnePlus 10 Pro Design, Specifications, and Features
The front panel of the OnePlus 10 Pro will resemble its predecessor—the OnePlus 9 Pro. This means that the handset will feature a curved display with a punch-hole notch at the top left corner. However, the back panel of the upcoming OnePlus flagship will get a design overhaul compared to its predecessor. Based on the leaked renders, the camera module on the handset seems to extend towards the right edge and will be recessed into the body.
The upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro is confirmed to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is built on Samsung’s 4nm fabrication process and brings with it the Adreno 730GPU and X2 Prime core. The handset is expected to boot Android 12 with the company’s proprietary OxygenOS skin on top.
