OnePlus 10R 5G And Nord CE 2 Lite 5G Confirmed To Launch In India On April 28

Just last week, OnePlus had released a teaser for their upcoming April 28 launch which fuelled a ton of rumours. Today, the brand confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus 10R 5G and OnePlus CE 2 Lite 5G at the “More Power To You” event on April 28, 2022. This comes after the brand announced the launch of the OnePlus Ace, a rebadged OnePlus 10R, for launch in China on April 21.

From the teasers that have already been made public, the OnePlus 10R 5G will support 150W SUPERVOOC charging technology and will become the fastest charging phone in the brand’s stable. This new charging tech will supposedly be able to charge the OnePlus 10R’s battery from 1 to 100 percent in 17 minutes. The company will also launch a base variant of the phone with support for 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Next up is the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G which will pack a 5,000mAh battery featuring a 33W SUPERVOOC rapid charging that will charge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

OnePlus 10R Specifications

The OnePlus 10R will be the company’s first smartphone to offer 150W charging. It will have a 6.7-inch sAMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. It will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and will run Android 12 with the most recent OxygenOS build on top.

The smartphone will have a triple rear camera configuration with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome device on the front. A 16MP selfie camera will be placed in the center-punch hole on the front of the OnePlus 10R. When it comes to battery life, the device will be equipped with a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 150W rapid charging.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Specifications

According to the reported specifications, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will be a sub-₹20,000 smartphone with a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD panel and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and will support up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone will no longer have the standard Alert slider and will instead have a fingerprint sensor on the side.

On the optics front, we can expect a triple rear camera configuration with a main 64MP Omnivision sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP shooter on the front will take care of selfies. The device will run Android 12 out of the box, with the current OxygenOS build on top, and will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Price In India

The OnePlus 10R is expected to launch in India within the ₹40,000 to 50,000 bracket, while the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is slated to launch under ₹20,000.
