Today, OnePlus launched two new products—OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2—in India. The OnePlus Buds Z2 are the successor to the company’s extremely popular OnePlud Buds Z, which were launched in India in October 2020.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 use a Bluetooth 5.2 chip for improved connection stability, 11mm dynamic drivers for better audio quality, and ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) to cancel background noise. The earbuds also feature an IPX4 rating, 94ms ultra-low latency, up to 38 hours of battery life.
OnePlus Buds Z2 Price In India, Availability
The OnePlus Buds Z2 price in India is ₹4,999 in India. The earbuds will go on sale in the country on January 18, 2022, through Flipkart, Amazon, and OnePlus (official stores and website). The earbuds are available in two colour variants: Obsidian Black and Pearl White.
OnePlus Buds Z2 Specifications, Features
The OnePlus Buds Z2 feature 11mm dynamic drivers, similar to the OnePlus Buds Z, but they are tuned better for improved audio quality. As mentioned earlier, the earbuds use a Bluetooth 5.2 chip that supports both SBC and AAC codes.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 have three microphones on each side, which means that you can use any of the earbud (left or right) independently. The wireless earphones feature ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) to suppress background noise. There is transparency mode, too, which amplifies the ambient sound that helps you listen to things support.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 also have capacitive buttons to control calls, music playback, and volume. The earbuds have support for Dolby Atmos audio, an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, wear detection for auto music pause, an IPX rating for the charging case, and Google Fast Pair support.
Each earbud packs a 40mAh battery, while the case ships with a 520mAh battery. The earbuds are claimed to deliver a battery life of up to 5 hours with ANC turned on and 7 hours with ANC turned off. With the charging case, the total battery life can reach up to 38 hours. The OnePlus Buds Z2 case has a USB Type-C port. With 10 minutes of charging, the earbuds can last up to 5 hours of music playback.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 compete with the Nothing Ear 1, Xiaomi Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro (Review), Realme Buds Air 2, Realme Buds Air Pro, and the slightly higher priced Jabra Elite 2.
