OnePlus To Launch A New Phone With Dimensity 8100 SoC, 120Hz OLED Screen, And 150W Fast Charging: Report

OnePlus is soon going to launch its OnePlus 10 Pro in India. The brand recently unveiled its Nord CE 2 5G in the country and is said to be launching multiple devices in the near future. Amongst these, a new OnePlus device has started popping up on the internet, as multiple leaks surrounding an upcoming OnePlus phone powered by MediaTek’s yet-to-be-announced Dimensity 8100 chipset have started circulating. The upcoming OnePlus device is said to feature a 120Hz OLED panel and support for a whopping 150W fast charging.

OnePlus 150W Fast Charging Phone Reportedly Launching Soon

According to a noted Chinese tipster who goes by the name Digital Chat Station, OnePlus will soon be launching a new smartphone with a Dimensity 8100 5G mobile platform. The device is said to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ flat AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

For photography, the upcoming OnePlus phone is tipped to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary rear camera. The details surrounding the remaining cameras in the device’s rear camera matrix are rather unknown for now, and the same is the case with its front camera.

In terms of battery life, the upcoming OnePlus phone is said to come with a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with support for 150W fast charging. In all likelihood, the device will have a pair of 2,200 cells and the rated capacity will likely be 4,400mAh.
