OnePlus has launched its first-ever limited-edition smartphone in the Nord lineup: OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition. The company took it to OnePlus Community to make the formal announcement. The rumours surrounding the OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition have been doing rounds on the internet for the past couple of weeks. The OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition is basically a Nord 2 but with a glowing rear panel and exclusive software features. OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition : Price in India

The OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition price in India will be ₹37,999. It will be priced at €529 in Europe and £499 in the UK. It will retail in only one memory configuration: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. This is a bit higher compared to the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, but it is something that is expected considering it’s a limited-edition device. To recall, the 12GB + 256GB variant of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G retails for ₹34,999 in India.

OnePlus hasn’t done any alteration in the hardware department except for the back panel. The back panel of the PAC-MAN Edition glows in the dark and showcases a maze inspired by the classic arcade game. The rest of the phone remains similar to the OnePlus Nord 2. OnePlus is offering some exclusive software features, including a Gamified UI with the new OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Limited Edition variant.

The OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition comes with a custom icon pack, custom static and live wallpapers, and a custom camera filter, all inspired by the iconic game. OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition also comes preloaded with PAC-MAN 256. OnePlus is taking a new approach with the Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition where the users can unlock an array of exclusive PAC-MAN content, but only after completing the challenges.

To recall, the OnePlus Nord 2 features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display also houses an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole notch. Under-the-hood, the handset has the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI processor that is fabbed on TSMC’s 6nm fabrication process. The Nord 2 retails in 6GB/8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Moving on to the camera on the phone, it features a 50MP triple-camera setup with an LED flash on the rear. The primary high-resolution IMX766 sensor gets accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP monochrome lens. To capture selfies and for video calls, the phone uses its 32MP front-facing camera. The handset is equipped with a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with 65W fast-charging support. It runs OxygenOS 11.3 which is based on the Android 11 operating system.
