Snapdragon 870-Powered Realme GT Neo 2 Will Be Launched In India on October 13

Realme has revealed the Realme GT Neo 2 5G launch date in India. The upcoming 5G smartphone, which was launched in China a few days ago, will break cover in the country on October 13, 2021. Along with the information on the release, the company has also revealed the phone’s design along with a dedicated product page.

The Realme GT Neo 2 will be available in three colour variants: Black, Blue, and Green. The green variant features a racing-inspired black stripe, similar to what we saw on the Realme GT 5G that we reviewed recently. The blue variant has a gradient appearance. The black variant is restrained in terms of style, perfect for those who don’t want to attract unwanted attention. The Chinese company also shared some specifications that we have listed below.

Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications

The Realme GT Neo 2 5G is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. According to Realme, it offers 10% performance gains over the Snapdragon 865+ processor. For improved sustained performance, the handset is equipped with stainless steel vapour chamber, which can reduce the core temperature by up to 18 degrees celsius.

Moving onto the display, the Chinese company has opted for an OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to most other mid-range and high-end smartphones these days. To provide a competitive edge in gaming, the display is tuned for a 600Hz touch sampling rate. The Realme GT Neo 2 comes with 65W fast charging support. Realme claims that it can juice up your phone from 0-100% in just 36 minutes.

The teaser confirms a triple-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. According to GSMArena, the ancillary cameras are likely to be an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, you can expect a 16MP camera at the front.

Realme GT Neo 2 5G Price In India (Expected)

As mentioned earlier, the Realme GT Neo 2 5G will launch in India on October 13, 2021. Based on its features, the handset will compete with the Xiaomi MI 11X. While Realme has been tight-lipped about its pricing, our educated guess would be something around the ₹30,000 mark.
