OnePlus, back in July, launched the OnePlus Nord 2 5G handset. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G was the company’s first handset with a MediaTek Dimensity processor. Now, a new report by Digit suggests that the company is working on a new OnePlus Nord series handset dubbed the OnePlus Nord 2T. If true, this will be the first handset with a T-moniker under the Nord lineup. Similar to the Nord 2, the Nord 2T will also be powered by MediaTek Dimensity processor. Let us take a closer look at the OnePlus Nord 2T’s leaked specifications and features.
OnePlus Nord 2T Specifications and Features
The Nord 2T will reportedly feature a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. According to OnLeaks, the upcoming Nord 2T will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor and Mali-G77 GPU. The Dimensity 1300 is built on TSMC’s 6nm fabrication process. It features 4 Cortex-A78 performance cores and 4 Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
The Nord 2T is said to be offered in three RAM configurations—6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM. However, users will have an option to choose between 128GB and 256GB storage. OnePlus will reportedly make use of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for fluid performance.

The primary 50MP sensor is said to support optical image stabilization (OIS). Accompanying it will be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP mono sensor. For selfies, the Nord 2T will reportedly offer a 32MP shooter.
The Nord 2T is said to be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit and whopping 80W fast charging. This seems very exciting considering the fact that the OnePlus 10 Pro is the only OnePlus handset to support 80W fast charging. The handset is said to come preloaded with OxygenOS 12, based on Android 12.
The Nord 2T is also said to offer a Type-C charging port, and an in-display fingerprint scanner, but that’s a given considering most other Nord series handsets also offer the same. The device might also offer a stereo speaker setup.
