OnePlus is now pushing out the Android 12 open beta for the OnePlus Nord. The smartphone shipped with Android 10 out of the box, which was later upgraded to Android 11 based on OxygenOS 11. As per OnePlus’ two-year update policy, Android 12 could be the last major upgrade for the phone. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 8 series devices were recently updated to OxygenOS 12, and now it’s time for the Nord to receive the latest update.
The new OxygenOS 12 for the OnePlus Nord includes a slew of new features, including subtle design changes aimed at making the experience more intuitive for OnePlus phone owners, Canvas AOD 2.0, which adds more customization options with options, a new Privacy Dashboard feature, as well as other privacy upgrades.
