OnePlus Nord Watch Listed On BIS, India Launch Imminent

Rumours surrounding OnePlus launching a Nord-branded smartwatch have been popping up on the internet for quite some time now. So far, the brand has not confirmed anything about the OnePlus Nord Watch, but a new leak has emerged, which suggests that its launch in India is imminent. Let’s take a look.

OnePlus Nord Watch India Launch Tipped

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus Nord Watch with the model number OPBBE221 has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website. The BIS listing of the purported OnePlus Nord Watch suggests an imminent launch of the watch in the country.

Sharma further claims that the internal testing of the OnePlus Nord Watch has already begun in the country. As far as the launch date is concerned, the OnePlus Nord Watch is expected to be released sometime in Q3, 2022 in India.

As for the features, we know little about the OnePlus Nord Watch so far. However, considering the more budget-friendly approach of the existing Nord products in the market, we can expect the Nord Watch to be an affordable smartwatch offering by OnePlus. Therefore, we don’t expect the OnePlus Nord Watch to run Google’s WearOS. Instead, the watch might come with a proprietary skin, as has been the case with the OnePlus Watch.

Coming to the design, the OnePlus Nord Watch is expected to feature a round dial and removable straps. The watch can be expected to launch in a black variant. However, we can expect more colour variants of the watch to launch as well.
