OnePlus is soon going to launch a couple of new smart TVs in India. Leaks and rumours surrounding the launch of new OnePlus smart TVs have been popping up on the internet for quite some time now and finally, the brand has given an official confirmation for the same. According to the latest teaser by OnePlus, the OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge smart(er) TVs are launching soon in India. The TVs are said to provide a more intelligent and seamlessly connected ecosystem to its users. The side bezels appear to be quite minimal, while the chin appears to be considerably thick. Then again, considering the fact that the OnePlus Y-series of smart TVs usually belong to the mid-range smart TV spectrum, such a design should come as no surprise.
As for the launch date, the launch of the OnePlus TV Y1S and the OnePlus TV Y1S Edge appear to be “coming soon”, as highlighted vaguely in the tweet, but previous reports suggest that the launch could be happening on February 17. We’ll have to wait a little longer for the announcement of the date.

As far as the specifications are concerned, OnePlus has promised to reveal the features of both TVs until February 16th, so we can expect a multitude of teasers in the coming days. The rumour mill suggests that the OnePlus TV Y1S and the OnePlus TV Y1S Edge will feature 20W Dolby Audio support, dual-band Wi-Fi, HDR10+ support, and will boot Android TV 11 OS out of the box.
