Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has launched a new A-series smartphone, the OPPO A17, in India today. The OPPO A17 was first unveiled by the brand in Malaysia a few days back. When it comes to the specifications, the A17 sports a 6.56-inch HD+ display. The device is equipped with MediaTek’s processor and it packs 4GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 50MP main camera and packs a 5,000mAh battery. Let us take a look at the pricing and detailed specifications of the A17.

The OPPO A17 is priced at ₹12,499 in India. The device comes in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The smartphone can be purchased in the country via online as well as offline stores. The handset comes in Sunlight Orange and Midnight Black colour options.

The OPPO A17 sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ 1612×720 pixel resolution. The display panel has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 269PPI pixel density, and 480 nits brightness. The smartphone features a one-piece faux leather back and it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the A17 is powered by a Helio P35 processor which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The phone also has 4GB of Virtual RAM support and a microSD card slot. On the software side of things, the A17 runs Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12.1 UI on top. The imaging department on the device is handled by a dual-camera setup. The device features a 50MP main camera that has an f/1.8 aperture lens. The 50MP primary lens is paired with a 2MP secondary camera that has an f/2.8 aperture. The device sports a 5MP camera on the front side which has an f/2.2 aperture.

Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery which includes battery-saving features such as Super Power Saving Mode and Super Nighttime Standby.
