OPPO A17 Spotted On BIS Certification Website, India Launch Imminent

OPPO is reportedly working on launching a new OPPO A series smartphone. The device was recently spotted on the GCF certification website, which confirms the “OPPO A17” moniker. The smartphone with the same model number has now been listed on the BIS certification website, hinting that it might launch soon in India. Let us take a look at the details.

OPPO A17 To Launch In India Soon

According to a MySmartPrice report, OPPO will soon launch a new A series smartphone dubbed the OPPO A17. The device has been spotted on the GCF and the BIS certification websites bearing the model number CPH2477. However, the listings don’t reveal any other specifications of the upcoming OPPO smartphone.

The OPPO A17 is expected to arrive as the successor to the OPPO A16, which was launched back in September 2021. The smartphone features a 6.52-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

For photography, the smartphone offers a triple-rear camera setup with a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device relies on a 16MP front camera. The OPPO A17 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The smartphone was launched with a price tag of ₹13,990.
