Earlier this month, Oppo launched the Oppo A17 and the Oppo A77s smartphones in the Indian market. The brand has now released yet another A-series smartphone—the Oppo A17k—in the country. The A17k is a cheaper variant of the Oppo A17 and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It offers an 8MP camera and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery.

The latest A-series smartphone from Oppo features a 6.56-inch LCD display panel with an HD+ (1,612 × 720 pixel) resolution, 269ppi pixel density, 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 600nits peak brightness. It is an 8-bit panel that supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and features Panda glass protection.
Powering the all-new Oppo A17k is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor that brings with it an integrated IMG GE8320 GPU. It comes paired with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The handset boots ColorOS 12.1.1, which is based on Android 12.
On the imaging front, the latest A-series smartphone offers an 8MP rear shooter with a 78° field of view and an F2.0 aperture. It comes equipped with a 5MP front shooter that has a 76.8° field of view and an F2.2 aperture.
The all-new Oppo A17k is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. It makes use of a micro USB charging port and supports 10W charging. On the security front, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is embedded into the power button. It also features an IPX4 rating that makes it water-resistant.
The Oppo A17k retails in Navy Blue and Gold colour options. It weighs 189 grams and measures 164.2 × 75.6 × 8.3mm. Connectivity options of the device include dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and Galileo.
