OPPO A55s 5G With Snapdragon 480 Processor, 13MP Dual-Camera Launched

OPPO has expanded its A series of smartphones with the launch of the OPPO A55s. The new entry-level 5G smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 octa-core processor and a dual-camera setup at the rear. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch display with a punch-hole-shaped cutout at the top-left corner to include the selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and it comes in two colour variants. Let us take a look at the detailed specifications and pricing of the OPPO A55s.

OPPO A55s Pricing And Avaibility

The OPPO A55s is priced at JPY 32,800 (roughly ₹21,200) in Japan. The device comes in Green and Black colour variants. The OPPO A55s will be available for purchase in Japan starting November 26, 2021.

OPPO A55s Specifications, Features

The OPPO A55s has a 6.5-inch LCD LTPS display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), 405 PPI pixel density, up to 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the software front, the A55s runs Android 11 out of the box with a layer of ColorOS 11.1 on top. The smartphone could get the ColorOS 12 update sometime next year. The smartphone also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

In terms of imaging, the OPPO A55s has a dual-camera setup at the rear, which includes a 13MP primary camera with an F2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an F2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with an F2.0 aperture.

The OPPO A55s is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The device supports face recognition as well. Connectivity options of the smartphone include GPS, 5G, 5G, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and a dual-SIM card slot. The OPPO A55s measures 162.1 x 74.7 x 8.2mm and weighs 178g. The smartphone has an accelerometer, gyro, magnetic sensor, an optical sensor, and proximity sensor.
