Oppo A77 5G With Dimensity 810, 90Hz Refresh Rate, IPX4 Rating Launched: Specifications

Oppo has introduced its A77 5G smartphone in Thailand. The device follows the current design trend of flat sides and a flat rear panel. However, the waterdrop notch style display makes it look like a device from 2018-19. The smartphone packs in a large IPS LCD, high refresh rate, dual rear cameras, a Dimensity series processor, stereo speakers, and more. 

Oppo A77 5G: Features, Specifications

The Oppo A77 5G is built out of polycarbonate and gets an Oppo Glow design, which makes it scratch-resistant and wear-resistant. It flaunts a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display can reach a peak brightness of 600 nits. 

The Oppo A77 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset built on the 6nm fabrication process. It is a decent mid-range processor and can handle most tasks with ease, and some light gaming. It is equipped with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. 

In terms of camera, the latest Oppo A77 5G boasts of a dual rear camera setup. It comes with a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Selfie duties are handled by an 8MP camera which comes with an f/2.0 aperture.  

Connectivity features of the handset include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, and an IPX4 splash rating. For biometrics, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader and face unlock. The Oppo A77 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery coupled with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It runs on ColorOS 12.1 out of the box. 

Oppo A77 5G: Price, Availability 

The Oppo A77 5G is priced at THB 9,999 (approx. ₹22,500) in Thailand. It will go on sale in Thailand on June 10, 2022. It comes in Ocean Blue and Midnight Black colour options. Oppo hasn’t revealed its plans to bring this device to India yet.
