Oppo is reportedly working on a new K10-series smartphone, which could be named the Oppo K10 Energy or Oppo K10 Vitality Edition. The Oppo K10 Energy will be an upper mid-range device and will be positioned below the recently launched Oppo K10 5G and Oppo K10 Pro smartphones in China.
According to a GSMArena report, the Oppo K10 Energy was spotted with a model number PERM10. Another report by Playfuldroid suggests that the new K10-series handset will be sold via offline channels in Oppo’s home country, China. It will be the third K10-series smartphone to be added to the lineup in 2022.
Oppo K10 Energy: Specifications (Rumoured)
The Oppo K10 Energy (Vitality Edition) is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset, which also powers devices such as the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, Realme 9 5G SE, iQOO Z6 Pro, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, and few others. The previously launched Oppo K10 5G (China Spec) comes with a Dimensity 8000-Max, and the Oppo K10 Pro gets a Snapdragon 888 processor, which are much more powerful in comparison. The device may come equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Talking about its design, it will carry a similar design to the other K10-series smartphones. As per a report, it may sport a 6.59-inch LCD with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. In terms of optics, it is said to come with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Oppo K10 Energy will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery under its hood coupled with 30W fast charging support.
The report also reveals the prices of the Oppo K10 Energy. It is rumoured to sell in offline retail outlets in China for CNY 2,200 (approx. ₹25,966). The brand will have to price it significantly lower in India, considering the specs on offer.
