OPPO K10 Pro 5G With AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 888 Launched In China: Specifications

OPPO has introduced its K10 Pro 5G smartphone in its home country, China. It will succeed the OPPO K9 Pro which was launched last year. The OPPO K10 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor as opposed to the MediaTek chipset of the OPPO K9 Pro. It packs in a large AMOLED display, high screen refresh rate, superior cooling tech, triple cameras with OIS, fast charging support, and more. 

OPPO K10 Pro 5G: Features, Specifications

The OPPO K10 Pro sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display of E4 grade. It comes with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and an insane 720Hz touch sampling rate that is sure to excite gamers. The brightness levels can reach a maximum of 1300 nits. 

The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s 2021 flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 888. OPPO has employed a Diamond Vapour Chamber Liquid Cooling Max to tame the fire-breathing dragon. The stainless steel vapour chamber area has been increased by 30 percent compared to the one on the OPPO K9 Pro. It is equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of camera, the OPPO K10 Pro 5G comes with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). The ancillary cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The selfie duties are handled by the 16MP sensor housed in the left-aligned punch-hole camera cutout at the front. 

The OPPO K10 Pro carries an X-axis linear vibration motor, which will provide improved haptic feedback in the UI during typing and while playing games. It also gets stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity features include dual SIM, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The handset is powered by a 5,000mAH battery and is coupled with an 80W SuperVOOC fast charging tech. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 12.1 on top of Android 12 OS. 

OPPO K10 Pro: Price, Availability

The OPPO K10 Pro is available for pre-order and will go on sale on April 28, 2022 in China. The prices start at CNY 2499 (approx. ₹29,200) and go all the way up to CNY 3199 (approx. ₹37,400) for the top-spec variant. It comes in Titanium Black and Sunny Blue colourways.
