OPPO Reno 8 To Be Available For Pre-Order In India Today: Price, Specifications

The OPPO Reno 8 will be available for pre-order in India from today. The device was launched by OPPO in India a few days back alongside the OPPO Reno 8 Pro. When it comes to the specifications, the Reno 8 has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 1300 SoC. The device also has OPPO’s Super-Conductive VC Liquid Cooling System, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.

OPPO Reno 8 Pre-Order Begins Today, Price, Availability

The OPPO Reno 8 is priced at ₹29,999 in India. The smartphone comes in Shimmer Gold and Shimmer Black colourways. The device will be available for pre-order in India via OPPO’s website and Flipkart from 7 PM. The smartphone will go on sale in India from July 25, 2022 via Flipkart, the OPPO website, and offline stores.

OPPO Reno 8 Specifications, Features

The OPPO Reno 8 sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that has Full HD+ resolution. The display panel has a 90Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. As for the software, the device runs Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12.1 skin on top. The company has promised to offer two years of major Android updates and four years of security updates for the device. Under the hood, the Reno 8 is powered by a Dimensity 1300 processor which is paired with Mali-G77 MC9.

The smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For imaging, the device features a 50MP rear camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor that has an f/1.8 aperture. The primary 50MP sensor is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. On the front side, the device sports a 32MP camera that has an f/2.4 aperture. A 4,500mAh battery fuels the device that has 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support.

Connectivity-wise, the device offers features such as 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.3, USB Type-C port, and NFC. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device measures 160.6 x 73.4 x 7.67mm and weighs 179 grams.
