OPPO is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a new Reno 8 series smartphone dubbed the OPPO Reno 8Z. The device has already been spotted on several certification websites, hinting that the launch might happen soon. The upcoming OPPO smartphone recently paid a visit to the NCC certification website, which revealed a few live images of the device. In a recent development, a poster of the OPPO Reno 8Z has surfaced online, courtesy of tipster Evan Blass. Let us take a look at the leaked images of the smartphone.

The design of the smartphone seems quite similar to the OPPO Reno 7Z. We can also see an RGB light around the two large-sized cameras. Upon taking a closer view, text that says “AI Portrait Camera” can be seen engraved just below the camera module.

The poster further reveals that the OPPO Reno 8Z has a boxy design with flat edges. The flat side of the device has a SIM card slot and volume buttons. We can also see a microphone on the top. Based on the previous NCC listing, the smartphone will also feature a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille at the bottom.
OPPO Reno 8Z Expected Specifications
The OPPO Reno 8Z is said to feature a Snapdragon 695 processor, which might come paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to boot Android 12 out of the box. The device is said to arrive in three configurations—6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The smartphone might be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
