OPPO Reno8, Reno8 Pro 5G India Launch Date Revealed

OPPO has finally confirmed the launch date of the next-generation Reno series smartphones in India. The OPPO Reno 8 series, consisting of the OPPO Reno8 and the Reno8 Pro, will launch in the country on July 18, 2022. The OPPO Reno8 Pro is confirmed to come with a Dimensity 8100 Max processor, while the Reno8 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. OPPO Reno8, Reno8 Pro India Launch Date

OPPO has revealed via an official poster that it will launch the Reno8 series on July 18, 2022 in India. The launch event will be live streamed on OPPO’s official YouTube channel at 6 PM. Users can also tune in to OPPO India social media channels to receive live updates.

OPPO Reno8, Reno8 Pro Pricing, Specifications (Expected)

As for the specifications of the OPPO Reno8 series, the Reno8 Pro is confirmed to feature a Dimensity 8100 Max processor, which is expected to be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone will also feature a MariSilicon X chip and support for 4K Ultra night video. The Reno8 Pro is said to come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

For photography, the smartphone will offer a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro snapper. The OPPO Reno8 Pro may rely on a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 45W fast charging.

On the other hand, the vanilla OPPO Reno8 will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. In terms of imaging, the OPPO Reno8 will come with a 50MP main camera and a 32MP front-facing camera. Speaking of the battery, the device will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

As for the pricing, the vanilla Reno8 is tipped to be priced at ₹29,999, ₹31,990, and ₹33,990 for the 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB variants respectively. You can expect the Reno8 Pro to be priced between ₹42,000 and ₹46,000.
