Back in August 2022, OPPO introduced the latest ColorOS 13 skin based on Android 13 OS for its smartphones in the global market. The latest software update was confirmed to roll out in beta for the OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G first. In September, the brand rolled out the beta update for the OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G and the OPPO F21 Pro users in India. The brand has now rolled out the update to more devices in the country. Currently, the OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G, OPPO Reno8 5G, OPPO F21 Pro 5G, OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G, OPPO Reno7 5G, OPPO Reno6 5G, OPPO F21 Pro, OPPO K10 5G, OPPO K10, OPPO A96, and OPPO A76 have started receiving the ColorOS 13 beta update.
From November 9, 2022, the ColorOS 13 beta update will start rolling out to the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G, OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G, and the OPPO F19 Pro+ smartphones. The OPPO A74 5G will receive the ColorOS 13 beta update starting from November 18, 2022.
As for the official version, the brand has revealed the timeline for three of its devices so far. The OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G will receive the stable ColorOS 13 update starting from November 8 in India. From November 18, 2022, the OPPO Reno8 5G and the OPPO K10 5G devices will receive the ColorOS 13 stable build.
How To Update My OPPO Phone to ColorOS 13?
If you own an eligible OPPO smartphone and want to update it to the latest ColorOS 13 skin, you need to go to Settings > About device > tap the icon on the top right > hit the Trial version option, and fill in the required information and apply. Once your application is verified and approved, you will receive the latest ColorOS 13 beta update on your device, which you can then download.
With ColorOS 13, OPPO has introduced a brand-new Aquamorphic design and a new card style layout. The latest iteration also claims to offer significant battery improvement and bring abut a new Eco-friendly Always-On display. Plus, ColorOS 13 will provide the devices with the ability to keep more apps open in the background.
