OPPO Watch 2 With 1.75-inch AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 4100 Processor Launched: Specifications, Price
OPPO has launched the OPPO Watch 2 smartwatch in China. It arrives as the successor to the original OPPO Watch, which the company had launched last year. The OPPO Watch 2 comes in two sizes: 42mm and 46mm and both of them feature a 3D curved AMOLED display. Under the hood, these two smartwatches come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100 processor. The OPPO Watch 2 has eSIM (for 4G LTE), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, 5ATM water-resistant rating, 100 sports modes, an optical heart rate sensor, a blood oxygen sensor, and much more.
OPPO Watch 2 Pricing And Availability
The OPPO Watch 2 price starts at CNY 1,299 (₹14,880) for the 42mm version, while the 42mm eSIM version costs CNY 1,499 (around ₹17,170). The OPPO Watch 2 46mm comes only in an eSIM version and it is priced at CNY 1,999 (around ₹22,899 ). Both the models come in Black and Blue colours. These smartwatches will go on sale in China from August 6, 2021.
OPPO Watch 2 Specifications, Features
The 42mm version of the OPPO Watch 2 features a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with 372 x 430 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the 46mm version of the OPPO Watch 2 comes with a 1.91-inch AMOLED display that has 402 x 476 pixels resolution. Both models come equipped with the 12nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100 processor and OPPO’s own Apollo 4s co-processor. The smartwatch features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. As for the software, the OPPO Watch 2 runs Wear OS-based ColorOS Watch 2.0 out of the box. The OPPO Watch 2 is compatible with devices running Android 6.0 and above.
The smartwatch offers 100 sports modes and has automatic tracking in 6 sports modes: running, walking, outdoor cycling, swimming, elliptical machine, and rowing machine. The smartwatch supports 24-hour heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking and analysis, and stress monitoring. Connectivity-wise, the Watch 2 has 4G connectivity via its eSIM. It has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS, and NFC.
As for the battery, the 44mm model is powered by a 350mAh battery which offers up to 10 days of battery life in the long battery mode. The 44mm model has VOOC flash charge support which can offer a day’s worth of charge in 15 mins charging. On the other hand, the 46mm model is powered by a 502mAh battery that claims to offer up to 16 days of battery life in the long battery mode. The 46mm model has VOOC flash charge support as well and can provide one-day battery life in just 10 minutes of charging.
