OPPO Watch 3 Series Retail Listing Reveals LTPO Panel With AOD Support

Oppo has various smart accessories in its pipeline. The company is planning to launch the Watch 3 series and the OPPO Zhimei Life Smart Camera on August 10, 2022. Ahead of the launch, the Watch 3 has already made its way to Chinese online stores, revealing some key features of the upcoming smartwatch.

Oppo Watch 3 Series Features

As per the listing, the Oppo Watch 3 Pro will sport a curved 1.91-inch AMOLED LTPO with support for Always-on Display (AoD). However, the display specs of the vanilla Watch 3 were not disclosed.

The smartwatches will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset as well as Oppo’s own Apollo 4 Plus co-processor. The Oppo Watch 3 series will come with support for ECG, NFC, and eSIM.

Furthermore, the Oppo Watch 3 series is reported to offer 5ATM water resistance. The device will come with Oppo’s ColorOS Watch interface. The smartwatches will be offered in black and silver colour variants.

Oppo Watch Launch Details

The Oppo Watch 3 series will be among the first of Oppo’s smartwatches to feature Qualcomm processors. The Watch 3 series will launch on August 10, 2022 at 7 p.m. (local time) in China.
